Just what everybody in a precarious country wants for Christmas.
An affordable minesweeper.
Honestly, I have, for years thought, why spend money and time
trying to detect, dig up and defuse mines. Why didn't anybody
just go around with a big stick, like a ten-foot pole, or 20,
and bang the ground. Instant end to the mine. Cheap and fun.

Well, this guy's thing works too, but it ain't a big stick.
